Many drivers have their tires rotated and balanced together at intervals recommended for their vehicle and tires, especially if they regularly drive on rough roads.

Wheel alignment does not need to be performed on a fixed schedule for every vehicle, but an annual check is reasonable for many daily drivers. More importantly, have it checked after a significant pothole or curb impact, after suspension or steering repairs, when replacing tires, or anytime you notice pulling, an off-center steering wheel, or uneven tread wear.

Regular tire pressure checks should be part of the routine, too. Underinflation and overinflation do not directly cause an alignment issue, but they can wear tires unevenly and make handling concerns harder to diagnose. Proper pressure, rotation, balancing, and alignment work together to keep your vehicle driving the way it should.

Why the Right Diagnosis Saves Money

Ignoring vibration or pulling can cost more than a rough ride. An imbalance can shorten tire life and add stress to suspension components. Poor alignment can wear out a tire edge long before the rest of the tread is used. In severe cases, a vehicle may handle less confidently in wet weather or during an emergency maneuver.
